What is the Deaf Midwest Pickleball Tournament?
The Deaf Midwest Pickleball Tournament is a regional pickleball competition for Deaf and Hard of Hearing players. It focuses on accessibility, sportsmanship, and community connection.
When is the tournament?
The tournament will take place Friday through Sunday, June 26–28, 2026.
Where is the tournament located?
The tournament will be held in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Our venue will be Chip’s Pickleball Club, located at 980 Discovery Road, Eagan, MN 55121.
Who can participate?
Deaf and Hard of Hearing pickleball players are welcome. All skill levels are encouraged to participate.
Do I need to know ASL to participate?
ASL is the primary language used during the tournament. However, we welcome all Deaf and Hard of Hearing participants and will prioritize clear visual communication.
What accommodations are nearby?
Eagan’s hotel choices sit along major roads and near Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), about a 10–20 minute drive from Chip’s Pickleball Club. Booking early is recommended, especially around tournament weekends or events in June.

Will there be spectators?
Yes! Spectators, family members, and friends are welcome to attend and support the players.
What accessibility features will be provided?
The tournament will include ASL-friendly communication, visual announcements, clear signage, and staff/volunteers familiar with Deaf culture.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! Volunteers are welcome and appreciated. Volunteer sign-up information will be posted soon. No pickleball experience is required.
